LET BEAUTY BLOSSOM

All of the flowers and foliage that we sell are grown locally, in our backyard just outside of Norwalk, WI.  Because they are grown right here, we are able to avoid the use of chemicals often needed for flowers that are shipped hundreds (or thousands!) of miles.

We start the vast majority of our plants from seed, bulb, or tuber, oftentimes during the chilly onset of autumn, or as snowflakes flurry outside our windows in the middle of winter.  Our repurposed greenhouse (designed and built by my husband, Paul) and our unheated high tunnel allow us to extend our season somewhat, but we are still very limited by the varying climate of west-central Wisconsin, and therefore have embraced the idea of seasonal flowers.  Knowing that they only come around naturally for a short time each year makes us appreciate them even more!
